In many new theories, the counterpublic has become a key concept which attracts a lot of attention. Its proposal marks that some members of the public community are not only developing as one of the entity groups of discourse entities but also as an alternative to potential participants. The broader public alternative is clearly articulated by the more widely public alternative that explicitly articulates the participants.

The counterpublic is also a public-owned general characteristic similar to the public spontaneous organization through discourse targeting strangers of the public speech that combines both personal and non-personal components. Attention is the minimum threshold for the formation of its members, but later scholars are not considering counterpublic as limited to a certain group of people but more inclined to regard it as a social discourse entity and a social space in which reflexive discourse of discourse that cannot be reduced to a place or topic of population as a necessary sign of counterpublic status.

In my point of view, unlike community friendly or family loving oriented communities, counterpublic unity and reciprocity rooted in exclusion and deprivation of collective experience. Unlike autonomous public domains that emphasize their own independence, counterpublic focus on seeking challenges and resistance to the mainstream media and public. For example, in a homosexual counterpublic, nobody hides in the closet because the heterosexual presuppositions that constitute the hideout of individuals in the common speech are shelved in such a public group that individual resistance to stigma is transferred to public conflict.

At the same time, opposition can be demonstrated in the perspective of identity of the population by simplifying the opposition from the perspective of identification of the exclusion and domination of certain groups of persons and the history of the new social movement but which neglect the fluidity of the social relations and the attribution of individuality. Homosexuality there as my example is a strict internal and external group identity that is denied of the heterogeneous coalition as an counterpublic participation as a source of too much emphasis on group identity which will mask the political and economic stratification on the counterpublic importance that impact the opposition. It can also be manifested in the counterpublic discourse that this perspective highlights the impact of situational factors and institutional layouts on counterpublic participation but a forum that embraces more differential discourse may not be the ideal place to generate counter-discourse.
