According to the BBC, in the talk show Newsnight, Comey revealed that no one around Trump could stop his "impulse behavior." Komi also said, "He (Trump) had a habit - lying, sometimes lying very much, and sometimes very casual, he insisted that the people around him should repeat and believe his lies, which would corrupt the reputation of others. ”
Komi also revealed that he would “think twice” when sharing sensitive information with Trump. “You must think about the issue in a different way. This is a problem that will not happen to other presidents,” Komi added. Komi received an interview with Newsnight on the BBC talk show.
Komi's new book, "More Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership," was published this Tuesday (17th). The book disclosed details of his relationship with Trump and criticized Trump. The two men had also had several clashes before, and Komi had said in an interview that Trump’s leadership style resembled the “gang leader,” and Trump issued a document blaming him for being “a liar”.
James Komi became the seventh director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation in September 2013, and the normal retirement time is 2023. In May 2017, the White House suddenly announced the dismissal of Komi's post when Trump took office for less than four months. At the time, Komi was investigating the relationship between the Trump campaign team and Russia. According to the White House, Jeff Sessions, the Attorney General, stated to the President that the dismissal was that Komi "has no ability to effectively lead the FBI." However, opponents believe that the FBI's insistence on investigating the "throughout Russia" is a key reason why Trump is determined to expel Komi.
